Lavrov highlights humor as an essential quality for diplomats

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has highlighted an often-overlooked quality that he considers important for anyone working in diplomacy: a good sense of humor.

According to Lavrov, maintaining a positive and cheerful attitude can help diplomats cope with the intense pressure and demanding nature of their profession. He suggested that humor can be particularly valuable when diplomatic work produces successful results.

Lavrov also indicated that personal character traits do not necessarily conflict with the responsibilities of a senior diplomat. In his view, his own personality is compatible with the requirements of a position he has held for many years.
