LabelVie expands retail footprint with new Carrefour hypermarket in Zenata
LabelVie Group has continued to strengthen its presence in Morocco’s retail sector with the opening of a new Carrefour hypermarket in Zenata, a rapidly developing urban area near Casablanca. This latest addition reflects the group’s ongoing strategy to expand and modernize its store network across the country.
The Zenata opening follows several recent investments by LabelVie, including the renovation of the Sidi Maârouf hypermarket and the launch of new stores in Almaz and Ain Sebaa. Together, these projects reinforce the group’s strong positioning in the Casablanca metropolitan area. With this new store, LabelVie now operates 16 Carrefour hypermarkets nationwide.
Beyond commercial expansion, the project has generated significant employment opportunities. The new hypermarket has created more than 200 direct jobs, along with nearly as many indirect positions, highlighting the group’s contribution to local economic development.
The store aligns with LabelVie’s Vision 2028, which focuses on supporting the growth of emerging urban zones and adapting retail offerings to evolving consumer needs. Designed to serve a diverse customer base, the Zenata hypermarket offers a modern shopping environment combining convenience and variety.
Covering a sales area of approximately 4,200 square meters, the hypermarket features a central fresh-food market with fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, and an artisanal bakery. It also includes a wide non-food section, offering household appliances, high-tech products, home décor, lifestyle items, and a textile range for both adults and children. A parking facility with more than 200 spaces ensures easy access for customers.
