El Jadida Horse Show: Equestrian Nights Blend Tradition and Spectacle

The 17th edition of the El Jadida Horse Show will offer the public two evenings dedicated to equestrian spectacle with the Equestrian Nights. In the A arena, transformed for the occasion into an open-air stage, horses, riders, music, and light shows will come together around several performances from Morocco and abroad.

For several editions, this event has showcased the relationship between man and horse through performances that blend technique, creativity, and artistic dimension. For this new edition, five groups will present distinct universes, ranging from classical equestrian tradition to contemporary creations.

Five Universes for a Shared Passion for Horses

The program will feature La Compagnie Impulsion, Pride of Portugal, Charivari, SOREC Academy of Equestrian Arts, and Auxiliary Forces - Northern Zone.

Each troupe will offer a unique approach to equestrian art, allowing the audience to discover different disciplines and expressions of the relationship between rider and mount.

La Compagnie Impulsion Focuses on Virtuosity

Founded by Ghislain Cayla, La Compagnie Impulsion will present a show built around technical mastery and artistic exploration.

Its riders will notably showcase Cossack vaulting, liberty dressage, and Hungarian post. The various sequences will combine physical performances and horse work, with staging designed to create a dialogue between precision and emotion.

Pride of Portugal Showcases the Portuguese School

Coming from Portugal, the troupe Pride of Portugal will bring a dimension rooted in Portuguese equestrian tradition to the Horse Show.

The performance will particularly draw on Lusitano horses and the codes of classical dressage. This presence will highlight another equestrian heritage, built over several centuries around the relationship between rider and horse.

Charivari Blends Humor and Acrobatics

With Charivari, the Equestrian Nights will take on a more contemporary direction. The troupe will present a creation that combines several disciplines, including vaulting, dressage, liberty work, acrobatics, and dance.

Humor, surprise, and imagination will also play a significant role in this proposal, aimed at providing the audience with a different experience from traditional equestrian performances.

SOREC Academy Highlights Moroccan Heritage

The SOREC Academy of Equestrian Arts will represent Moroccan equestrian know-how. Its performances will showcase Moroccan horses as well as the techniques and traditions passed down within the national equestrian culture.

The troupe aims to combine heritage and creation to introduce the audience to different facets of Moroccan equestrian heritage.

Auxiliary Forces - Northern Zone Celebrate Military Tradition

The program will also feature the participation of Auxiliary Forces - Northern Zone. Their formations will emphasize the precision of movements, collective discipline, and synchronization of riders.

The mounts, ceremonial costumes, and coordination of formations will help restore the codes of Moroccan military equestrian tradition and give it a spectacular dimension.

Two Evenings Under the El Jadida Sky

Over two evenings, these five universes will succeed one another in the A arena of the El Jadida Horse Show. The programming will thus offer a succession of performances in different styles, while maintaining a common thread: the celebration of the horse and equestrian expertise.

Between technical performances, heritage, and artistic creations, the Equestrian Nights stand out as one of the cultural and spectacular highlights of this 17th edition.

An Event Serving the Equine Sector

Founded in 2008 under High Royal Instructions, the Horse Show Association works towards the development of the equine sector in Morocco. Presided over by Charif Moulay Abdallah Alaoui, it notably participates in promoting Moroccan equestrian culture and preserving traditions related to horses.

The association organizes the El Jadida Horse Show and also develops cooperation initiatives with public institutions, the private sector, civil society, and similar events in Morocco and abroad.

Its missions also include promoting the equine sector, particularly for its role in the socio-economic development of rural areas, enhancing the cultural heritage related to horses, and encouraging careers in the sector.

With the Equestrian Nights, the Show continues its ambition to make the horse a link between heritage, artistic creation, and transmission, bringing together formations from different backgrounds and styles for two evenings dedicated to equestrian art.
