Tanger, Morocco is set to host the 11th edition of the Serious Game RSE Workshop on February 8th, illuminating the realm of corporate social responsibility (CSR) through interactive games.

Organized by the 2024 graduating class of the eco-energy and industrial environmental engineering program at the National School of Applied Sciences (ENSAT) in Tanger, the workshop is strategically designed to captivate businesses' attention towards pressing social and environmental issues.

"We firmly believe that serious games can serve as a potent tool to advocate for sustainable practices within companies," stated one of the student organizers. "Our objective is to stimulate discussion and catalyze action on CSR."

The workshop sessions are slated to delve into diverse topics, including the UN's sustainable development goals, responsible purchasing in alignment with ISO 20400 standards, environmental and social performance, carbon footprinting, energy efficiency, corporate climate action, and the HACCP ISO 22000 food safety management system.

Utilizing serious games, games purposefully designed for educational or social impact rather than mere entertainment, the workshop aims to provide participants with an interactive and experiential understanding of CSR.

In the backdrop of Morocco's sustained commitment to sustainable development, events like the Serious Game RSE Workshop are instrumental in engaging key stakeholders and offering valuable insights into fostering shared value for both businesses and society.
