Crédit Agricole appoints Anne Laimé as deputy CEO
Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility has named Anne Laimé as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Personal Finance & Banking Servicing, a move that strengthens the company’s leadership team as it accelerates its growth strategy across Europe and Morocco.
A subsidiary of the Crédit Agricole Group focused on consumer lending and mobility financing, the company said Laimé will continue to lead Smart Conso Crédit Agricole & LCL, the division that supports the expansion of consumer credit within the group. She also remains a member of the Executive Committee of CA Personal Finance & Mobility.
In her expanded role, Laimé will supervise personal finance activities throughout Europe and Morocco, in addition to overseeing services delivered to banking partners. The appointment aligns with the group’s 2028 strategic roadmap, which seeks to reinforce its footprint in consumer finance while improving operational performance across key markets.
In Morocco, the group operates through Wafasalaf, a leading consumer credit provider in the country. Wafasalaf is jointly owned by Attijariwafa Bank, which holds a 51 percent stake, and Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility, which owns the remaining 49 percent. The partnership has supported the diversification of financial products and the expansion of distribution channels nationwide.
Laimé began her professional career in 1990 at Disneyland Paris, where she contributed to the launch of the Marne la Vallée site, working in recruitment and developing international tourism partnerships. She joined the Crédit Agricole Regional Bank of Gironde in 1999 as Head of Marketing. Following the 2001 merger of the regional banks of Landes, Lot et Garonne and Gironde, she created the Marketing and Commercial Communication Department at the Aquitaine Regional Bank.
In 2006, she took charge of the Organization Department, managing significant operational changes, including information technology system migrations. She later moved to the National Federation of Crédit Agricole in 2014 to contribute to group-wide strategic initiatives. In 2015, she joined Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility France as Director of Banking Partner Development.
In January 2021, Laimé was appointed Director of the newly established Smart Conso business unit, which serves the group’s retail banking networks in France, including the regional Crédit Agricole banks and LCL.
She holds a degree from the École Supérieure de Commerce de Compiègne.
