CashPlus and PayPal seal strategic partnership

CashPlus, a leading fintech and financial services company in Morocco, has announced a strategic partnership with PayPal, the global digital payment platform.

The agreement introduces a faster and fully digital solution that allows Moroccan users to withdraw their PayPal funds directly in Moroccan dirhams (MAD). According to CashPlus, withdrawals can now be made instantly through its mobile application, eliminating the need to visit a branch, submit paperwork, or rely on intermediaries. This makes CashPlus the only operator in Morocco offering a fully digital PayPal withdrawal service, a solution particularly relevant for freelancers, entrepreneurs, content creators, and online merchants.

“Financial services must be digital, accessible, inclusive, and designed for today’s lifestyles and ways of working,” said Otto Williams, Senior Vice President, Regional Director, and Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa at PayPal.

“Our partnership with CashPlus brings this vision to life in Morocco by providing an all-in-one solution that makes PayPal withdrawals faster and simpler, without the need for in-person transactions. Whether users run an online store or freelance for international clients, they can now manage both local and international finances through a single application,” he added.

With more than 18 million internet users and a rapidly growing digital economy, Morocco is positioning itself as a hub for innovation. The digital payments market, valued at 14.29 billion dollars in 2025, is expected to surpass 35 billion dollars by 2030.
