Casablanca Timeless festival delivers immersive three day music experience
The second edition of the Timeless Festival by U Radio concluded in Casablanca after three days of large-scale performances and immersive cultural programming. Held from 14 to 16 May at Anfa Park, the event transformed the site into a multifunctional festival space designed to merge live music, digital experiences, and social interaction. Organizers positioned the festival as a major cultural gathering within Morocco’s growing entertainment sector.
The festival expanded beyond traditional concert formats by introducing a structured “festival village” that combined artistic installations, interactive zones, and leisure areas. Visitors moved through a food court featuring international cuisine, a gaming and experience zone focused on digital engagement, and dedicated relaxation areas including outdoor cinema spaces. A live radio studio added a broadcast dimension, allowing audiences to interact directly with production teams and behind-the-scenes content.
Attendance figures underscored the scale of the event, with 22,000 festivalgoers recorded over the three-day period. Organizers also reported 80,000 square meters of staged immersive installations and more than 30 partner organizations involved in production and activation. Digital engagement expanded the event’s reach significantly, generating millions of online impressions alongside high levels of social media interaction and user-generated content across multiple platforms.
The artistic program featured a lineup that combined international and regional acts across multiple genres. Performers included Luis Fonsi, Busta Rhymes, MC Solaar, Vitaa, Eve, and Gnawa Diffusion, reflecting a deliberate mix of urban music, global pop, and traditional influences. The programming emphasized cross-cultural collaboration and aimed to attract audiences across different age groups and musical preferences.
The festival’s expansion was supported by coordinated production efforts between media and event partners, alongside institutional recognition through high-level patronage. Organizers described the edition as a step forward in scale and ambition, with a focus on integrating live performance with experiential design. The structure of the event reflects broader trends in large-format festivals that combine entertainment, media interaction, and branded experiential spaces.
