Casablanca fashion show gains global recognition in 2026 edition
The Casa Fashion Show 2026 brought together designers, guests, and industry figures in Casablanca for its 21st edition, held from 7 to 9 May at the Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche. The event unfolded under the patronage of King Mohammed VI and gathered more than 1,000 attendees in a setting designed to merge fashion, performance, and live music.
The 2026 edition adopted disco as its central theme, drawing on the visual codes of the 1970s. Designers presented contemporary couture pieces inspired by bold silhouettes, metallic textures, and vibrant stage aesthetics. The show combined runway presentations with live entertainment, turning the venue into a continuous performance space rather than a traditional catwalk format.
Casablanca’s role in the fashion landscape continues to expand as the event strengthens its position as a regional platform for designers from Morocco and across Africa. The gathering attracted professionals, influencers, and international guests, reinforcing the city’s growing visibility within the global fashion circuit. Organizers positioned the show as a space for creative exchange and professional exposure.
The 2026 edition also highlighted the increasing international attention directed toward Moroccan fashion. The event’s scale, production quality, and thematic ambition contributed to its recognition beyond national borders, reflecting a broader trend of African fashion events gaining influence in global industry conversations.
