Arts et Métiers Campus in Rabat Gains Official State Recognition

The Arts et Métiers Campus in Rabat has reached a significant milestone with its recent official recognition by the Moroccan government. This acknowledgment underscores the institution's growing impact on higher education in Morocco.

Born from a strategic collaboration between the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Trade and the renowned Arts et Métiers institutions in France, the Rabat campus is now recognized as a public higher education establishment, operating under a private foundation's management. This unique framework seeks to combine academic rigor with a strong emphasis on research and entrepreneurship, reflecting the successful model of the eight campuses in France.

The campus is equipped to offer a diverse range of programs, including the prestigious Programme Grande École (PGE), a Bachelor of Technologies for the Industry of the Future, and a professional bachelor's degree. These programs are conducted at the esteemed Mohammed VI Polytechnic University campus in Rabat (UM6P), ensuring that students receive education on par with their counterparts in France.

This official recognition is a catalyst for future expansion, unlocking new opportunities for students, researchers, and entrepreneurs across Morocco. Notably, it was announced earlier this year that students at the Rabat campus can now pursue dual engineering degrees, a testament to the institution's commitment to providing world-class education.

The PGE, once exclusive to France, has been approved for the Rabat campus following a successful audit in January 2024. Established in September 2023, the campus was envisioned as a hub for cultivating young talent and spearheading research and innovation initiatives.

This development marks a new chapter for the Arts et Métiers Campus in Rabat, poised to become a vital player in Morocco's educational landscape.
