Iran Sets Diplomatic Meeting with European Nations on Nuclear Program
Iran has scheduled diplomatic discussions regarding its nuclear program with three major European powers for January 13 in Geneva, Switzerland, according to Iranian state media reports.
Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi, who oversees Legal and International Affairs, characterized the upcoming meeting as consultative rather than negotiative in nature. The talks will bring together representatives from Iran, France, Britain, and Germany, marking a significant diplomatic engagement between these nations.
The announcement, reported by Iran's ISNA news agency, comes amid ongoing international attention to Iran's nuclear activities. The distinction between "consultations" and "negotiations," as emphasized by Gharibabadi, suggests a carefully measured approach to these diplomatic exchanges.
