Ramadan Readiness: Collaborative Efforts Pave the Way for Seamless Supply and Quality
In anticipation of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, Khouribga province has taken decisive steps to guarantee a consistent supply of essential food items at affordable prices. A coordination meeting, presided over by Abdelhamid Chennouri, the provincial governor, was convened on Thursday to assess market conditions during this sacred period and closely monitor the pricing and quality of food products.
During the event, Governor Abdelhamid Chennouri emphasized the availability of high-demand products throughout Ramadan at prices that remain stable. He called upon all stakeholders to heighten their efforts in quality control operations for food products, aiming to protect the purchasing power of citizens, uphold public health, and combat unjustified price increases resulting from monopolistic practices or the sale of substandard products.
Governor Chennouri stressed the significance of a proactive approach, advocating for the activation of coordination and monitoring mechanisms to oversee the supply situation. These measures are intended to ensure the quality of food products and mitigate any practices that may adversely affect consumer purchasing power or health.
Emphasizing the need to penalize any hindrance to these efforts, Chennouri urged various departments and external services to focus on control operations, emphasizing the importance of preserving consumer safety and health while activating the role of local joint commissions.
The meeting witnessed the participation of the president of the Provincial Council, heads of external services, security officials, and other key stakeholders, highlighting a collaborative effort to guarantee a smooth and secure Ramadan for Khouribga residents.
With these proactive measures in place, Khouribga province is well-prepared for the holy month of Ramadan, offering its citizens an ample supply of high-quality food products at stable prices. This ensures a peaceful and prosperous observance of this sacred time for the residents of Khouribga.
