Awrach Initiative Paves Way for Inclusion of Over 231,000 Youth
During the oral question session at the House of Representatives, Younes Sekkouri, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment, and Skills, provided an illuminating update on the significant impact of the "Awrach" program. This initiative has successfully facilitated the inclusion of more than 231,000 young individuals.
In response to inquiries from the Haraki group regarding the "Improvement of Income and Economic Inclusion of Youth" (ARIEJ) program, Sekkouri disclosed that 50,000 youth have benefited from workshops aimed at sustainable inclusion.
Additionally, the minister highlighted that the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC), in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, underwent a comprehensive reorganization. This included the launch of a new program aimed at integrating 80,000 young individuals and enhancing the employability of 500,000 job-seeking youth.
Sekkouri also emphasized the significant role of self-employment initiatives in improving youth inclusion and income. He announced the launch of the regional program "Ana Moukawil," which has been developed over the past year with a well-defined budget and necessary conventions. This program is slated for implementation across all regions of the country.
The minister's statements underscore the Moroccan government's steadfast commitment to empowering the nation's youth and fostering an environment conducive to their economic and social integration. The "Awrach" initiative, through its comprehensive approach, has emerged as a beacon of hope, unlocking opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and self-sufficiency.
Amid ongoing challenges of youth unemployment and economic disparities, initiatives like "Awrach" and "Ana Moukawil" hold promise in catalyzing positive change and propelling Morocco towards a future where every young individual has the opportunity to thrive and contribute to national prosperity.
