Failed Attempt of Irregular Emigration at Sebta Border
An attempt of irregular emigration towards the enclave of Sebta, in the locality of Oued Lakhloute, was thwarted in the early hours of Wednesday morning, according to local authorities of the prefecture of M'Diq-Fnideq.
This attempt of irregular emigration was carried out by nearly 200 people from sub-Saharan African countries, some of whom were armed with sticks, stones, and iron hooks used to climb the metal fence, before being intercepted and arrested by public forces, it was reported from the same source.
Some minor injuries were recorded among the public forces and migrants, authorities added.
