The Moroccan Agency for Logistics Development (AMDL) aims to kickstart the implementation of the national logistic zones program. In this regard, it signed a Memorandum of Understanding with MED Z, a subsidiary of CDG Development, on Tuesday in Rabat, during a ceremony chaired by the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mohamed Abdeljalil, and the CEO of CDG, Khalid Safir.

This MoU provides a framework for collaboration to establish a national network of logistic zones, located in various regions of the Kingdom and with a significant impact on territorial development and the efficiency of various economic value chains, as stated by both parties. According to Mohammed Abdeljalil, the idea is to accelerate the development of logistic platforms in Morocco. "This development is an essential pillar of the National Strategy for Logistics Competitiveness Development, aiming to streamline flows through dedicated infrastructures, reducing transportation and logistics costs, and contributing to stimulating the country's economic development," highlighted the minister.
