Advertising trends as a reflection of Morocco’s economic health
At the 2025 edition of LiFtour, Anouar Sabri emphasized the pivotal role of the event as a premier platform for dialogue and exchange. Each year, LiFtour provides an essential space for analyzing advertising investment figures, particularly those from the first ten days of Ramadan. These metrics offer critical insights into annual trends and serve as a barometer for assessing the management and overall health of the national economy.
Anouar Sabri highlighted two key aspects during his speech. First, he presented the advertising investment data from the initial ten days of Ramadan. These indicators are crucial for forecasting yearly trends in advertising investments and evaluating the country's economic dynamics. "These figures give us a precise understanding of the country's economic health and the confidence of investors," he stated.
Additionally, Sabri unveiled a groundbreaking initiative for this year's event: the presentation of the 2025-2030 prospective study. This study, launched several months ago, includes two components—focus groups and a field survey conducted among professionals. "The study allows us to measure our ability to align with national policies and various strategies of the country," Sabri explained.
Preliminary results from the study highlight a strong capacity to support national policies. However, perspectives among professionals regarding the evolution of their industries remain divided. "This study provides valuable insight into how professionals envision the next ten years and their contribution to the country's development," Sabri added.
He also stressed the importance of this study in light of upcoming national milestones, such as the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) and the FIFA World Cup, as well as its alignment with Morocco's new development model. "We integrated this vision to demonstrate how our industry can support every stage defined in the new development model," he concluded.
LiFtour 2025 has firmly established itself as an essential forum for discussing advertising investments and Morocco's economic outlook. Anouar Sabri’s announcements offered a clear and optimistic roadmap for the future, underscoring the importance of adaptation and innovation in an ever-evolving economic landscape.
