Netanyahu backs “Decisive” U.S. action in Venezuela

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday expressed his government’s support for what he described as the “decisive decision and determined action” taken by the United States in Venezuela. His remarks were made during a cabinet meeting, following recent developments involving U.S. intervention in the country.

Netanyahu welcomed what he sees as a broader geopolitical shift in Latin America, noting that several countries in the region are strengthening ties with Washington and renewing relations with Israel. He praised U.S. President Donald Trump for his leadership and also commended the American armed forces for carrying out what he called a successful operation.

The Israeli leader’s statement reflects Tel Aviv’s alignment with Washington’s strategy in the region and highlights Israel’s interest in expanding diplomatic and political cooperation with Latin American nations amid changing regional dynamics.
