Zidane’s explosive celebration after Olise goal goes viral
Zinedine Zidane became one of the main talking points online after an exuberant touchline celebration during France’s 1-0 victory over Belgium in Brussels on Monday night.
With the match appearing destined to end in a draw, Michael Olise produced the decisive moment in the 88th minute. Introduced shortly before the goal, the French forward embarked on an impressive individual run before finishing with his left foot to give France the lead.
The goal triggered an immediate reaction from Zidane. Unable to contain his excitement, the French coach raced along the touchline before striking a ball used for restarts with considerable force. His spontaneous response quickly caught the attention of football fans and spread across social media.
Beyond the spectacular celebration, the result marked another positive step for France. Zidane has now recorded two victories from his first two matches in charge of the national team. The sequence began with a 1-0 win against Turkey on Friday before France repeated the scoreline against Belgium.
Olise’s late intervention ultimately settled a closely contested encounter and allowed France to leave Brussels with another narrow victory. For Zidane, the dramatic reaction to the winning goal offered a memorable image from a match decided in its final moments.
