Xiaomi expands smart home lineup at Vienna launch event
Xiaomi unveiled a broad expansion of its smart home ecosystem during a global product launch event held in Vienna on 28 May. The presentation went beyond smartphones and focused on a new wave of connected home devices designed to strengthen the company’s presence in European and global household markets.
The event centred on the Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro smartphones but also introduced a wider product family branded as “2026 All-New Smart Tech Appliances.” The lineup includes the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2026 series, H50 and H50 Pro robot vacuums, a front-load washer dryer, a 621-litre side-by-side refrigerator, and a Mijia air conditioner. The strategy reflects a push to integrate entertainment, cleaning, cooling, and appliance control into a unified ecosystem.
The TV S Mini LED 2026 range is offered in sizes from 55 to 98 inches. It uses QD-Mini LED 4K panels with brightness levels reaching up to 1,200 nits and supports HDR10+ and HLG. Larger models include Dolby Vision compatibility and a 144 Hz refresh rate. European pricing starts at 599 euros for the 55-inch model and rises to 2,299 euros for the 98-inch version, positioning the lineup in the mid-to-premium segment of the smart TV market.
Xiaomi also introduced new robotic vacuum systems aimed at automated home cleaning. The H50 Pro delivers suction power of 15,000 Pa and includes extendable side brushes and mop arms designed for edge cleaning. It comes with an all-in-one docking station that handles dust emptying, mop washing, and hot-air drying. The standard H50 offers 10,000 Pa suction and laser-based navigation. Pricing in Europe starts at 399 euros for the H50 and reaches around 980 euros for the Pro version.
The ecosystem expansion extends to laundry and connected appliances through the Mijia washer-dryer Pro 9 kg model. The device integrates AI-based washing detection and a 36-minute deep-clean cycle, controlled through the Xiaomi Home app. The broader strategy ties all devices into a single control platform, reinforcing Xiaomi’s aim to scale its AIoT ecosystem across European households with competitive pricing and unified smart home integration.
