Vueling inaugurates new air route between Barcelona and Agadir
Spanish airline Vueling has launched a new air connection between Barcelona and Agadir as part of its winter schedule.
The inaugural Barcelona–Agadir flight, operated under flight number VY8530, landed on Sunday at 10:30 a.m., marking the official opening of the new route, the company said in a statement.
The connection will operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Sundays.
This new route is part of Vueling’s expansion strategy to strengthen its international network from the Catalan capital.
With this addition, the Spanish low-cost carrier consolidates its presence in Morocco, where it already operates flights from Barcelona to Essaouira and Marrakech.
Founded in 2004, Vueling Airlines is a low-cost carrier based in El Prat de Llobregat, near Barcelona.
