Volkswagen Morocco Introduces Three New Models for Commercialization
Volkswagen Morocco is making a significant splash with the launch of three new flagship models, marking a notable entry into the market. Represented by the Centrale Automobile Chérifienne (CAC), the brand has initiated the simultaneous commercialization of these models, heralding a new era in automotive offerings.
Leading the trio is the 3rd generation Tiguan, representing cutting-edge design and technology. Morocco stands among the first nations to receive this model, available in four distinct trims: Life, Carat, Élégance, and R-Line. With an impressive 1000 pre-orders already secured, Volkswagen aims to sell its allocated 2000 vehicles within Morocco this year. Boasting a 150-horsepower diesel engine even in its base model, the Tiguan sets a high standard from its entry-level variant, priced competitively starting at 395,000 DH.
Following suit is the refined Touareg, embodying a subtle yet impactful facelift. Offered in three distinct versions, the entry-level Touareg debuts at a launch price of 625,000 DH, attracting significant interest despite its premium positioning, evidenced by 400 orders already received.
Lastly, the introduction of the T-roc R version adds another dimension to Volkswagen's lineup, promising enhanced performance and style.
Youssef Touhami, the brand's director, harbors ambitious goals for the year, aiming to elevate sales and position Volkswagen as the third-best-selling car brand (excluding Dacia) within the market.
