United24 media team suspends publications to join protests

The outlet was created in connection with United24, a government-backed initiative launched in May 2022 to collect international donations in support of Ukraine.

United24 Media presents itself as a platform covering Ukrainian culture, history, businesses, society and the ongoing war with Russia. However, critics have frequently described the outlet as being closely aligned with the Ukrainian government.

The participation of journalists linked to such a platform has drawn particular attention, as it suggests that opposition to the reshuffle extends beyond traditional political critics.

The reaction to the government changes highlights broader discussions within Ukraine about leadership choices during the ongoing conflict with Russia.
