Following the talks, Ernesto Neyra León, the Governor of the Piura Region, emphasized the importance of further strengthening the ties between Morocco and Peru, calling for diversifying the fields of collaboration and capitalizing on the immense potential that both nations possess.
Neyra León highlighted the recent signing of a twinning agreement between the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab Regional Council and the Regional Government of Piura in Dakhla on Tuesday as a tangible illustration of the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
Echoing similar sentiments, Eduardo Castillo Rivas, a member of the Peruvian Congress and spokesperson for the Fuerza Popular party in Piura, as well as a member of the Support Group for Morocco's Autonomy Initiative, underscored the significance of this twinning agreement.
