Severe thunderstorms to strike Moroccan regions amid ongoing heatwaves
The General Directorate of Meteorology in Morocco has issued an orange-level weather alert, warning of strong thunderstorms expected to hit several regions of the country today. The storms, accompanied by heavy rain, strong winds, and possible hail, are forecast to bring rainfall ranging from 15 to 30 millimeters.

The provinces expected to experience these severe weather conditions include Taza, Taourirt, Guercif, Jerada, Ifrane, Khenifra, Khouribga, Fquih Ben Salah, Beni Mellal, and Azilal. The warning is in effect from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. today.
