Senegalese President congratulates HM King Mohammed VI on Eid Al-Adha

Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, President of Senegal, sent a congratulatory message to HM king Mohammed VI on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, one of the most significant religious celebrations in Islam.

In his message, the Senegalese head of state expressed his sincere wishes for good health, long life, and continued prosperity to the Moroccan Sovereign, the Royal Family, and the Moroccan people.

The message also highlighted the strong ties of friendship and cooperation between Morocco and Senegal, two countries that maintain longstanding diplomatic and cultural relations.

President Faye further prayed for peace, unity, and prosperity across the Islamic world. He expressed hope that the spiritual values associated with Eid Al-Adha would strengthen solidarity and mutual understanding among Muslim nations.

Eid Al-Adha, celebrated by Muslims worldwide, commemorates the devotion and faith of the Prophet Abraham. The occasion is traditionally marked by prayers, charitable acts, and family gatherings, while emphasizing compassion and support for those in need.
