Samsung launches Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G with enhanced AI features
Samsung Electronics has introduced the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G, expanding its mid-range smartphone lineup with advanced artificial intelligence capabilities and improved performance. The launch reflects the company’s strategy to bring AI-powered mobile features to a broader user base while maintaining competitive pricing.
Both devices integrate updated “Awesome Intelligence” tools through the One UI 8.5 interface. These features aim to simplify daily tasks, improve productivity, and enhance creativity. Voice Transcription converts audio recordings into text, while AI Select allows users to extract or generate content directly from the screen with minimal input. Enhanced multitasking enables smoother drag-and-drop functions across applications.
Samsung has also upgraded photo and video editing tools. Object Eraser removes unwanted elements with greater precision, while Best Face, exclusive to the Galaxy A57 5G, optimizes group photos by selecting the best expressions. Additional tools such as Filters, Edit Suggestions, and Auto Trim streamline image and video processing. Circle to Search with Google enables users to identify multiple elements within images in a single query.
Camera performance remains central to both models. Each device features a 50-megapixel main sensor supported by improved image processing for sharper detail and better low-light performance. Nightography enhancements allow clearer photos in dark conditions, while AI-based scene recognition improves color balance and portrait accuracy. The inclusion of ultra-wide and macro lenses expands creative options for users.
The Galaxy A57 5G delivers higher performance through upgrades to its CPU, GPU, and NPU. It supports smooth streaming, browsing, and content creation, supported by a 5,000 mAh battery that can last up to two days. Super Fast Charging 2.0 enables a 60 percent charge in about 30 minutes. A larger vapor chamber helps maintain stable performance during intensive tasks such as gaming and video recording.
Both models feature IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, reinforcing durability for everyday use. Samsung also commits to long-term support, offering up to six generations of operating system updates and six years of security updates.
Security features are anchored by Samsung Knox Vault, a hardware-based platform designed to protect sensitive data. Additional tools include the Security and Privacy Dashboard, Auto Blocker, Private Sharing, and Theft Protection. A new Private Album feature allows users to secure personal content within the Gallery app, while Privacy Alerts notify users of potential risks related to data access.
The Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G will be available starting April 10 in select markets, with multiple color options for each model. Samsung Care+ will provide extended service and repair coverage.
