Royal Air Maroc suspends flights to and from doha until march 15
Morocco’s national airline, Royal Air Maroc, has temporarily suspended all flights connecting Morocco and the Qatari capital Doha until March 15, 2026, citing the current security situation in the Middle East.
In a statement released on Thursday, the airline confirmed that services between Morocco and Qatar have been cancelled for the coming days as a precautionary measure. The decision reflects growing concerns about regional instability and its potential impact on international air travel.
The airline said its operational teams are closely monitoring developments in the region and remain ready to resume flights once conditions allow for safe operations.
Passengers affected by the cancellations have been advised not to travel to the airport. Instead, they are encouraged to contact the agency or booking platform where their tickets were purchased in order to review the available options, including rebooking or other travel arrangements.
The company also recommended that travelers regularly check the status of their flights through the airline’s official website. Updating personal contact information in the booking management section will help ensure passengers receive the latest notifications regarding their travel plans.
Like many international carriers, Royal Air Maroc periodically adjusts its flight schedule in response to geopolitical developments, prioritizing passenger safety and operational security.
The airline did not specify when normal operations on the Morocco–Doha route will resume, but indicated that services could restart as soon as the situation stabilizes.
