Royal Air Maroc expands Northern Morocco connectivity with Europe

Royal Air Maroc is strengthening its network in Northern Morocco by launching new direct flights connecting the region to key European destinations. Following the opening of routes from Tétouan to Barcelona, Malaga, and Madrid, the national airline will now operate regular flights from Tangier to Malaga, Madrid, and Barcelona. In addition, Nador will be linked to Barcelona, Frankfurt, and Düsseldorf.

The expansion is part of Royal Air Maroc’s point-to-point development strategy, aimed at offering passengers a dense and diversified network between Morocco, Europe, and the rest of the world. These new connections are expected to boost tourism and facilitate economic and cultural exchanges.

Through this expansion, Royal Air Maroc now links nine Spanish cities—Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga, Seville, Las Palmas, Tenerife, Bilbao, and Alicante—to five Moroccan cities—Casablanca, Laayoune, Tangier, Tétouan, and Nador—totaling over 80 weekly flights. Three German cities—Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, and Munich—are also connected to Casablanca, Nador, and Oujda with more than 35 weekly frequencies.

The airline highlights the strategic role of its Casablanca hub, allowing travelers from Europe to access Morocco and the broader African and international networks more efficiently. Tickets for the new flights are available from February 10, 2026, via the airline’s website, call centers, agencies, and partner travel agencies.
