Radico Khaitan resumes Gulf exports as regional tensions ease

Indian liquor producer Radico Khaitan has resumed shipments to Gulf countries after exports were temporarily disrupted by regional geopolitical tensions earlier this year.

Company officials stated that deliveries gradually restarted in late April following a slowdown that affected trade and consumer activity across several Middle Eastern markets. The Gulf region remains an important destination for premium alcoholic beverages due to its large expatriate population and strong duty-free retail sector.

The temporary suspension of shipments during March and much of April created challenges for exporters operating in the region. However, the company indicated that demand is steadily recovering as business conditions improve.

Radico Khaitan, known internationally for premium products such as Rampur whisky and Jaisalmer gin, has increasingly focused on high-end brands to strengthen profitability and expand its global presence. The company reported strong annual financial growth, supported by rising demand for premium spirits both domestically and internationally.

Industry analysts note that consumers in several international markets are gradually shifting toward premium alcoholic beverages, encouraging companies to invest more heavily in upscale product lines. Growth in regions such as Africa and Asia-Pacific also helped offset slower activity in the Middle East.

As global trade routes stabilize, beverage exporters are expected to continue rebuilding supply chains and expanding distribution networks in strategic international markets.
