PSG extends Luis Enrique’s contract as five players also receive new deals

Paris Saint-Germain have extended head coach Luis Enrique’s contract until June 30, 2030, rewarding the Spanish manager for a highly successful spell at the helm of the French champions.

Enrique originally joined PSG for the 2023-24 season and quickly made his mark by guiding the club to the Ligue 1 title and the French Super Cup. His second season brought even greater success, with the Parisian side adding the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, domestic league and cup titles and another French Super Cup to their trophy cabinet.

The club continued its strong run under Enrique during the 2025-26 campaign, winning Ligue 1, the Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup. The achievements have strengthened the Spaniard’s position as one of the most successful managers in the club’s history.

PSG had previously renewed Enrique’s contract through June 2027. The latest agreement adds another three years, keeping him in charge of the team until 2030.

The French club has also secured the long-term future of several members of its squad. Lucas Beraldo, Senny Mayulu, João Neves and Willian Pacho have all extended their contracts until 2031, while Fabián Ruiz has signed a new deal running until 2028.

The contract announcements come as PSG seek to regain momentum on the domestic front. The Parisian club recently suffered a 2-1 defeat against Monaco, leaving them with two points from their opening matches and placing them 12th in the standings. PSG had previously drawn against Rennes and Lille, while Monaco moved to the top of the table with eight points.

Despite the difficult start to the league campaign, the decision to extend Enrique’s contract underlines PSG’s confidence in his long-term project. The club is continuing to build around a manager who has already delivered major domestic and European honors while developing a squad designed to compete at the highest level.
