PSG: Achraf Hakimi’s rehabilitation progresses rapidly

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has shared encouraging updates on the recovery of Achraf Hakimi, who suffered an ankle injury on November 4. The club published new footage on its social media platforms showing the Moroccan international actively participating in indoor training sessions.

In the video, Hakimi can be seen performing muscle strengthening exercises, treadmill running, and ball drills including short passes. The images highlight significant progress in his rehabilitation program, signaling that the player is approaching a critical stage in his recovery.

The PSG medical staff continues to manage Hakimi’s return carefully, as ankle sprains can be particularly challenging for a player whose game relies on speed, acceleration, and quick directional changes.

National team coach Walid Regragui previously noted Hakimi’s commitment to intensive reconditioning, with several hours of daily work aimed at ensuring he can participate in the upcoming Morocco-hosted Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) 2025.

The latest updates are promising, as PSG’s medical team coordinates closely with the national squad to minimize any risks during the final stages of his rehabilitation, prioritizing a safe and effective return to the field.
