In May 1993, he graduated with honors, earning a degree in public law and comparative law from the Faculty of Juridical, Economic, and Social Sciences in Rabat. Three years later, he achieved another advanced certificate in international relations, also with distinction. His academic journey culminated in 2001 when he defended his doctoral thesis at the University Montesquieu-Bordeaux IV on the Organization of the Islamic Conference, receiving high praise for the quality and significance of his work.
Leadership in social and cultural initiatives
From an early age, Prince Moulay Rachid demonstrated a strong commitment to cultural, social, and sporting activities. As President of the Moroccan National Scout Federation since 1997, he has revitalized the organization with new energy. He also heads the Royal Moroccan Hunting Arms Shooting Federation, the Marrakech International Film Festival Foundation, and the Hassan II Golf Trophy Association. Since 2018, he has presided over the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation, emphasizing the development of the sport in Morocco.
