Prince Harry to attend UK engagements without Meghan and children

Prince Harry will travel to the United Kingdom alone next week after his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children cancelled plans to accompany him to London, according to a spokesperson for the couple.

Harry is scheduled to attend a series of charity engagements in London and Birmingham, including events supporting the upcoming Invictus Games, the international sporting competition for wounded, injured and sick military personnel that he founded.

London visit plans revised

While Meghan and the couple's children, Archie and Lilibet, had initially been expected to join the trip, the spokesperson confirmed that they will no longer travel to the British capital.

However, the representative indicated that a visit to other parts of the United Kingdom has not been ruled out, leaving open the possibility that the family could still spend time together outside London during Harry's stay.

The change in plans coincides with renewed attention on security arrangements for the Duke of Sussex during visits to Britain.

According to The Telegraph, the decision followed the rejection of a request for police protection in London. The reported development comes as discussions over Harry's security arrangements continue to attract public and legal attention.
