Oppo prepares a flagship smartphone with a 200-megapixel triple camera
Oppo is reportedly preparing to expand its flagship smartphone lineup with the Find X10 Pro Max, a device expected to combine high-end photography capabilities with a large display, a powerful battery and a range of connectivity features. The phone is positioned to compete with some of the most advanced Android smartphones on the market.
According to leaked specifications, the upcoming device will feature a reinforced design aimed at improving durability. The handset is expected to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for resistance to dust and water, while its frame is reportedly made from aluminum and protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Photography is expected to be one of the phone’s main selling points. The rear camera system is reportedly built around three 200-megapixel sensors, potentially giving the device significant flexibility for high-resolution photography across different focal lengths. The front-facing camera is said to use a 50-megapixel sensor and support 4K video recording at up to 60 frames per second.
The display is also expected to place the Find X10 Pro Max firmly in the premium segment. Leaked information points to a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1272 by 2772 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is reportedly capable of supporting Dolby Vision and HDR Vivid technologies, while its pixel density is expected to be around 447 pixels per inch.
The combination of LTPO technology and a high refresh rate could allow the display to provide smoother animations while adjusting refresh rates according to the content being viewed. This approach can help balance visual performance and power consumption, particularly on a large flagship device.
The smartphone is expected to run Android 17 with Oppo’s ColorOS 17 interface. The company’s software layer is designed to add customization options and system features while maintaining compatibility with Google’s Android ecosystem.
In terms of memory and storage, the Find X10 Pro Max is reportedly set to offer 12GB or 16GB of RAM. Internal storage options could range from 256GB to as much as 1TB, giving users substantial space for applications, high-resolution photographs and video files.
The device is also expected to include a broad range of connectivity options. These reportedly include Bluetooth 6.0, a USB Type-C 3.2 port, NFC and support for both Nano-SIM and eSIM technology. A fingerprint reader integrated into the display is also expected to provide biometric authentication.
Battery capacity could be another major advantage of the upcoming model. Reports indicate that Oppo may equip the phone with an 8,000mAh battery, a notably large capacity for a flagship smartphone. The battery is expected to support 80W fast charging, allowing users to replenish power more quickly despite the device’s large energy capacity.
If the leaked specifications prove accurate, Oppo could be targeting consumers who prioritize photography, multimedia performance and battery endurance. The combination of a large high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, extensive storage and a high-capacity battery would put the device in direct competition with premium offerings from other major Android manufacturers.
However, the specifications remain based on leaks and reports rather than a complete official product announcement. Oppo has yet to confirm all of the reported features, pricing or the availability of the Find X10 Pro Max in different international markets.
The device nevertheless illustrates the continuing competition in the premium smartphone sector, where manufacturers are increasingly focusing on advanced camera systems, larger batteries, durable materials and high-performance displays to differentiate their flagship products.
