Morocco–Mali: Mohamed Ouahbi to speak only after the Tangier friendly

Morocco head coach Mohamed Ouahbi will not hold a press conference ahead of the national team's friendly against Mali on Sunday at the Grand Stade de Tanger.

The decision means that media interactions before the match will be limited, with the Morocco squad scheduled to complete its final preparations on Saturday evening in Tangier.

The Lions of the Atlas will train at the Grand Stade de Tanger from 5 p.m., with journalists allowed to attend the opening 15 minutes of the session. No pre-match press conference with Ouahbi is scheduled afterward.

Final preparations in Tangier

Saturday's training session will provide the final opportunity for the Moroccan squad to work on its preparations before facing Mali. The friendly forms part of Morocco's current international break and gives the coaching staff another opportunity to assess the team ahead of its upcoming commitments.

Ouahbi is instead expected to speak to reporters after the match, when he will discuss the outcome and Morocco's performance.

Third match of the international break

The Morocco–Mali encounter is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m. at the Grand Stade de Tanger.

It will be the third match played by the Lions of the Atlas during the current international window, following their meetings with Gabon and Lesotho.

With no pre-match media conference planned, attention will turn directly to the team's final training session and the tactical choices Ouahbi makes before Sunday's meeting with Mali. His post-match comments are expected to provide the main opportunity for journalists to question him about the team's display and the lessons drawn from the friendly.
