Morocco’s Folie Restaurant & Sea Bouznika named Africa’s best mediterranean cuisine restaurant 2025
Morocco continues to shine on the global gastronomic stage. Folie Restaurant & Sea Bouznika, a flagship of the Sunset Hospitality Group, has been named Africa’s Best Mediterranean Cuisine Restaurant 2025 at the World Culinary Awards, held this year in Sardinia, Italy.
The award celebrates the restaurant’s culinary excellence, elegant setting, and exceptional service, which have made it a landmark of Morocco’s Atlantic coast. Competing against over 500 establishments from 40 countries, Folie Bouznika stood out for its mastery of Mediterranean cuisine infused with Moroccan flair, refined design, and seaside-inspired atmosphere.
The jury—comprising culinary experts, journalists, and international food critics—unanimously praised the restaurant’s authenticity and creativity.
