Morocco's Dominant Victory Secures Top Spot in 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers
In a spectacular display of skill and precision, Morocco's national football team, the Atlas Lions, clinched a flawless 6-0 victory over Lesotho in their final Africa Cup of Nations qualification match. The game, held at Oujda's Stade d'Honneur, saw Morocco's offensive force put immense pressure on Lesotho’s defense from the opening whistle.
Brahim Diaz, a standout performer, opened the scoring early with a goal in the 5th minute, setting the tone for the match. The Real Madrid player continued to shine, netting two more goals before halftime (15th and 42nd minutes), bringing his tally to four goals for the national team. Soufiane Rahimi also contributed significantly, scoring a brace with a header in the 37th minute and a converted penalty in the 45th+2 minute.
The offensive dominance continued into the second half, with additional goals from Youssef En-Nesyri (68th minute) and Ismael Saibari (70th minute), solidifying Morocco’s commanding performance.
