Morocco franchise expo 2025 set to transform African business landscape
The Moroccan Franchise Federation (FMF) is preparing to launch the inaugural Morocco Franchise Expo (MFE), scheduled for February 12-14 at the Casablanca Exhibition Center. This groundbreaking event aims to showcase Morocco's market potential and attract diverse investors from both domestic and international markets.
The expo is expected to draw more than 100 exhibitors from various sectors and nationalities, with an anticipated attendance of 10,000 visitors across its 2,000m² exhibition space. The event will feature specialized conferences and workshops led by industry experts.
Mohamed El Fane, president of the FMF, emphasized the expo's significance for economic development: "Franchising is a driver of job creation and regional development. This exhibition marks an important step for the empowerment of our entrepreneurial ecosystem." The federation has broadened its reach to include university students and secondary school pupils, reflecting Western approaches to early entrepreneurship education.
Under the Ministry of Industry and Commerce's patronage, the MFE aims to capitalize on Morocco's strategic location, business-friendly environment, and expanding consumer base. The event will facilitate networking opportunities between national and international brands, fostering valuable partnerships and collaborations.
The FMF has assumed full organizational responsibility for the MFE, working to establish it as a cornerstone of Morocco's economic calendar. According to the FMF Managing Director, the federation seeks to position Morocco as a central hub for franchise operations in Africa, leveraging the country's role in the continent's economic growth.
While the complete exhibitor list and conference schedule are pending release, the expo is positioned to serve as a crucial platform for entrepreneurs and investors looking to expand their presence in the African franchise sector. El Fane concluded that the MFE 2025's strategic timing, expert programming, and networking opportunities will be instrumental in shaping the future of franchising across Africa.
