Morocco and Ghana ease travel restrictions
The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco is pleased to announce that following discussions held on June 5, 2025, in Rabat between His Excellency Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, and His Excellency Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana, a new travel arrangement has been established. From now on, Ghanaian citizens holding ordinary passports will no longer require a visa to enter Morocco.
Starting June 6, 2025, Ghanaian nationals with ordinary passports wishing to visit Morocco must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization to Morocco (ETAM) by completing the application online through the designated portal.
