Moroccan Dirham Exchange Rates: Bank Al-Maghrib Publishes September 18, 2026 Quotes

RABAT — Bank Al-Maghrib has published the official foreign-exchange rates against the Moroccan dirham for Friday, September 18, 2026, providing reference buying and selling prices for a range of major international and regional currencies.

The daily figures cover currencies including the euro, US dollar, British pound, Canadian dollar and Swiss franc, as well as currencies from the Gulf region and Asia.

Euro and US dollar remain key reference currencies

According to the central bank's published rates, the euro is quoted at 10.1794 dirhams for buying and 11.8302 dirhams for selling.

The US dollar is listed at 8.8679 dirhams for buying and 10.3059 dirhams for selling.

The British pound stands at 11.848 dirhams on the buying side and 13.77 dirhams on the selling side, while the Canadian dollar is quoted at 6.3333 dirhams for buying and 7.3603 dirhams for selling.

The Swiss franc is listed at 10.747 dirhams for buying and 12.489 dirhams for selling.

Gulf currencies maintain their respective quotations

Bank Al-Maghrib's schedule also includes several Gulf currencies, offering reference values for transactions involving Morocco's international partners in the region.

The Saudi riyal is quoted at 2.3607 dirhams for buying and 2.7435 dirhams for selling.

The Kuwaiti dinar, one of the highest-valued currencies in the list, stands at 28.768 dirhams for buying and 33.434 dirhams for selling.

The United Arab Emirates dirham is listed at 2.4143 dirhams for buying and 2.8059 dirhams for selling. Meanwhile, the Qatari riyal is quoted at 2.4327 dirhams for buying and 2.8272 dirhams for selling.

The Bahraini dinar reaches 23.522 dirhams for buying and 27.336 dirhams for selling, while the Omani riyal is set at 23.033 dirhams for buying and 26.769 dirhams for selling.

Japanese yen and Gibraltar pound also included

The central bank's daily reference list also covers the Japanese yen and Gibraltar pound.

For 100 Japanese yen, the quoted rates are 5.6376 dirhams for buying and 6.5518 dirhams for selling.

The Gibraltar pound follows the same quoted levels as the British pound in the published schedule, at 11.848 dirhams for buying and 13.77 dirhams for selling.

These figures provide a reference framework for foreign-currency transactions involving the Moroccan dirham on Friday, September 18.
