Mastercard adds Morocco to exclusive African travel platform to boost tourism
Mastercard has expanded its global Priceless platform to Morocco, making the country one of the first African destinations to be featured in the exclusive travel and lifestyle program. The initiative is designed to promote Morocco's tourism potential by offering cardholders access to unique cultural, culinary, and adventure experiences.
Morocco joins a select group of African markets participating in the platform, alongside South Africa, Kenya, Mauritius, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, and Zimbabwe. The expansion reflects Mastercard's growing investment in Africa's tourism sector as international travel continues to recover and demand for authentic local experiences increases.
Through the Priceless platform, Mastercard cardholders will be able to book curated activities that showcase Morocco's rich cultural heritage and diverse landscapes. Experiences include traditional cuisine, guided cultural tours, outdoor adventures, and exclusive events that allow visitors to explore the country's history and traditions in a more immersive way.
One of the featured attractions is a private dining experience in the Agafay Desert, offering travelers an opportunity to enjoy Morocco's unique desert scenery while experiencing local hospitality. Additional experiences are expected to highlight the country's historic cities, natural attractions, and vibrant arts and crafts.
Beyond exclusive activities, the platform also provides travelers with a range of premium benefits, including special hotel offers, discounted flight bookings, airport lounge access, car rental services, and secure digital payment solutions throughout their journeys.
Mastercard said the initiative aims to enhance the overall travel experience by connecting visitors with authentic local experiences while supporting tourism businesses and encouraging sustainable economic growth in participating destinations.
For Morocco, inclusion in the Priceless platform further strengthens its position as one of Africa's leading tourism destinations. The country has continued to invest in tourism infrastructure, cultural preservation, and hospitality services as part of its long-term strategy to attract more international visitors and diversify its tourism offerings.
As global travelers increasingly seek personalized and memorable experiences, Morocco's participation in the platform is expected to increase its visibility among international tourists while reinforcing its reputation as a destination that combines history, culture, nature, and modern hospitality.
