Maghrebail Strengthens Its Performance in the First Half of 2026
Maghrebail concludes the first half of 2026 with a strong growth momentum, driven notably by the increase in its financing activities and equipment acquisitions. The company reports rising indicators, with an increase in its net banking income, revenue, and outstanding amounts by the end of June.
Maghrebail's net banking income stood at 240 million dirhams at the end of the first six months of 2026, compared to 215 million dirhams during the same period a year earlier. This change represents a growth of 11.43%.
Growth is also observed in revenue, which reached 2.345 billion dirhams, compared to 2.133 billion dirhams at the end of June 2025, marking an increase of 9.94%.
Equipment Financing Accelerates
Financing activity continued to progress during the first half. Total production rose to 2.2 billion dirhams, with particularly strong momentum for equipment acquisitions.
These acquisitions represented 1.753 billion dirhams, recording an increase of 25.5% compared to the same period last year. Real estate leasing also grew, reaching 257 million dirhams, up from 206 million dirhams a year earlier.
This evolution confirms the central role of equipment financing in the growth of Maghrebail's activity during the first six months of the year.
Outstanding Amounts Increase by End of June
By the end of June 2026, the company's net book outstanding amounted to 13.527 billion dirhams, an increase of 8.15% year-on-year.
The structure of this outstanding amount remains largely dominated by equipment, which accounts for 68% of the total. Real estate assets represent 32% of the outstanding amounts.
However, the growth of activity was accompanied by an increase in debt, which reached 12.131 billion dirhams, representing an increase of 7.21%.
Bank loans account for 57% of this debt, with an outstanding amount of 6.938 billion dirhams, while Financing Company Bonds total 5.193 billion dirhams, which is 43% of the total amount.
Sustained Activity and Risk Monitoring
In terms of risk management, Maghrebail shows a coverage ratio of non-performing loans by provisions of 86.7% as of the end of June 2026.
The semi-annual results thus highlight a positive trajectory for the institution, marked by the simultaneous growth of net banking income, revenue, and outstanding amounts. The strong growth in financing for equipment appears to be one of the main drivers of this momentum during the first half of 2026.
