Maghreb Steel: Revenues Increase by 5% in the First Half of 2026

Maghreb Steel continues its growth trajectory in the first half of 2026. The Moroccan steelmaker recorded an improvement in its sales and revenue, driven notably by stronger activity in the domestic market.

Increased Volumes in the Second Quarter

The momentum was particularly confirmed between April and June. Maghreb Steel sold 162 kilotonnes (kT) of products in the second quarter of 2026, compared to 152 kT in the same period a year earlier.

For the first six months of the year, cumulative volumes reached 308 kT, showing a growth of 3% compared to the 299 kT recorded at the end of June 2025.

This development is primarily explained by the strengthening of sales in the local market, which contributed to supporting the group's activity during the quarter.

Significant Increase in Quarterly Revenue

The rise in volumes was accompanied by a more pronounced increase in revenue. The group's revenue for the second quarter amounted to 1.61 billion dirhams, compared to 1.48 billion dirhams a year earlier.

Year-on-year, this performance represents a growth of 9%.

For the first half, Maghreb Steel reported revenue of 3.07 billion dirhams, compared to 2.93 billion dirhams at the end of June 2025. Revenues thus increased by approximately 5% over the first six months of the fiscal year.

The evolution of sales confirms an improvement in activity, despite an environment still marked by fluctuations in steel markets and industrial costs.

15 Million Dirhams Dedicated to Investments

On the industrial side, the group invested 15 million dirhams in the second quarter of 2026.

These expenditures were primarily allocated to maintenance of production facilities, a crucial aspect for preserving the availability and performance of the industrial tool.

With increasing volumes and rising revenues, Maghreb Steel approaches the second half of the year on a favorable trajectory. The continued demand in the Moroccan market will be a key factor for the evolution of its activity in the coming months.
