LG innovations receive multiple honors at IFA 2026
LG Electronics has received multiple accolades at IFA 2026, including the title of Best Brand at the second edition of the IFA Innovation Awards, highlighting the company's latest developments in home entertainment, display technology and audio.
The South Korean electronics manufacturer was recognized across several product categories, with its latest devices drawing attention for their combination of advanced display technologies, wireless connectivity and flexible home entertainment solutions.
The LG OLED evo AI W6, presented as the company's True Wireless Wallpaper TV, won the Best in Home & Entertainment award. The ultra-thin television measures around 9 millimeters in thickness and incorporates LG's True Wireless technology, designed to reduce the need for conventional wired connections while maintaining a high-quality viewing experience. The device also features Hyper Radiant Color technology aimed at enhancing color reproduction.
In the audio category, LG Sound Suite AI received the Best in Audio award. The system uses Dolby Atmos FlexConnect technology, giving users greater flexibility in positioning compatible speakers within a room. The approach is designed to adapt the audio experience to different room configurations rather than requiring a fixed speaker arrangement.
Five additional LG products were recognized as Honorees at the awards. The list included the LG OLED evo G6 television, LG Micro RGB evo and LG Mini RGB evo displays, the portable LG StanbyME 2 Max screen and the LG xboom Stage 501 speaker.
The recognition comes as manufacturers increasingly focus on combining artificial intelligence, advanced display technologies and adaptable audio systems in connected-home products. At IFA, one of Europe's major consumer electronics trade shows, companies traditionally use new product launches and technology demonstrations to showcase developments in television, audio, computing and smart-home devices.
For LG, the awards provide further visibility for a product portfolio that places emphasis on picture quality, wireless technologies and more personalized entertainment experiences. The company has increasingly incorporated artificial intelligence into its consumer electronics range, particularly in televisions and connected-home products.
The IFA 2026 recognition also reflects the broader competition among major electronics manufacturers to develop thinner displays, more flexible entertainment systems and increasingly integrated smart-home experiences.
