Les Impériales Week 2025: Shaping the future of communication and marketing

Casablanca is alive with energy as it hosts the 8th edition of Les Impériales Week, which began on January 27, 2025. This prestigious event has become a pivotal gathering for professionals in communication, marketing, and media. With this year’s theme, The Paradigm Shift – Business. People. Tech.,” the week-long program promises insightful discussions on the transformative trends redefining strategies and practices across industries. The event will run until February 2, bringing together prominent figures from the sector.

Anouar Sabri, President of the Association Les Impériales, opened the 2025 edition with a compelling address that underlined the significance of this year’s theme. He emphasized the pivotal role of communication and marketing professionals in navigating a rapidly changing world. “Les Impériales are more than just an event; they represent a collective vision grounded in time. Since 2018, we’ve structured our mission to adapt to the sector’s evolutions, exploring new technologies, meeting brand challenges, and seizing opportunities in a constantly transforming Morocco,” he stated.

Sabri elaborated on the unique position of the communication and marketing sector, describing it as pivotal in shaping the future. “We stand at the crossroads of realities, acting as witnesses, architects of potential futures, and narrators of stories yet to be told. This perspective compels us to listen, create, connect, anticipate, and reinvent ourselves. Thus, we become the artisans of change and masters of resilience,” he concluded.

Among the prominent voices at the event, Karim Zidane, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government responsible for Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies, shared his enthusiasm for participating in the 8th edition of Les Impériales. He noted that the event has established itself as a key platform for envisioning the future and fostering connections between innovation, the economy, and society. He praised the theme for its relevance to the profound and rapid changes affecting global and local industries.

Zidane highlighted Morocco’s proactive approach under the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. He cited the country’s ambitious reforms, including the implementation of the new investment charter, as a prime example of Morocco’s forward-thinking strategy. This charter, designed to attract investments, enhance economic competitiveness, and generate sustainable value, has yielded impressive results. Since 2011, it has approved investments totaling 309 billion dirhams, creating nearly 223,000 long-term jobs.

In this dynamic landscape, Zidane pointed to initiatives such as the National Investment Observatory, which leverages advanced technologies like digitalization and artificial intelligence to analyze and predict investment trends. He stressed that while innovation and technology are critical, the true engine of transformation lies in human capital. Zidane underscored the importance of equipping youth with the necessary skills, supporting entrepreneurs, and preparing for the demands of the future.

As Les Impériales Week 2025 unfolds, it continues to serve as a beacon for collaboration and innovation, addressing the challenges and opportunities of an ever-changing world. The event’s focus on technology, people, and business ensures that it remains a cornerstone for those shaping the future of communication and marketing in Morocco and beyond.
