King Charles III, accompanied by stars, launches the Chelsea Flower Show
King Charles III of the United Kingdom officially opened the Chelsea Flower Show in London, marking the start of one of the world’s most prestigious gardening events.
The event, organized by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), brings together landscape designers, horticulturists, and artists from around the world. This year’s edition features a wide variety of imaginative garden designs, ranging from classical floral displays to highly modern and conceptual installations.
More than 150,000 visitors are expected over five days, as around 30 gardens compete for highly sought-after awards. The exhibition is known for combining tradition with innovation, attracting international attention from both gardening enthusiasts and cultural observers.
Among the highlights of this year’s show are large-scale artistic installations, creative greenhouse concepts, and experimental garden spaces that explore themes such as emotion, nature, and human connection.
During the opening event, King Charles III visited several exhibitions and met with designers, continuing his long-standing interest in environmental sustainability and horticulture.
The Chelsea Flower Show remains a major cultural event in the United Kingdom, celebrating the importance of gardens in both urban and natural life.
