Italy appoints Roberto Mancini as new head coach
The Italian Football Federation has announced the return of Roberto Mancini as head coach of the national team, marking the veteran manager's comeback to the Azzurri bench after his previous successful spell in charge.
Mancini previously led Italy for five years and guided the national team to European Championship glory at Euro 2020. Italy defeated England on penalties in the final at Wembley, securing one of the most memorable achievements of Mancini's coaching career.
