Iran claims missile strikes on Israeli cities and Jordanian airbase
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the armed branch of the Iranian regime, announced on Sunday that it had launched missiles targeting Tel Aviv, Beer Sheva, and a military airbase in Al-Azraq Air Base.
According to a statement reported by state media, the attack represents the 28th wave of “Operation Honest Promise 4”, conducted with next-generation missiles developed by the IRGC Aerospace Force. The missiles were aimed at both urban and strategic military sites, highlighting escalating tensions in the region.
The announcement underscores the ongoing volatility in the Middle East, where conflicts between Iran and Israel have intensified, drawing attention from neighboring countries, including Jordan, which hosts military installations targeted in the operation.
No immediate reports were available regarding casualties or damage from the missile strikes. Analysts say such actions risk further escalation in regional hostilities, with potential implications for international diplomacy and security.
