FIFA names top 10 Arab players of the 2026 World Cup

The 2026 FIFA World Cup highlighted the growing presence of Arab football on the international stage, with several players delivering impressive performances throughout the tournament. The official FIFA website has published a ranking of the standout Arab players who made the biggest impact during the competition.

The ranking comes after a tournament in which Arab national teams made significant progress, with several sides advancing beyond the group stage and reaching the knockout rounds. Their performances attracted considerable attention and underlined the development of football across the Arab world.

Moroccan midfielder Ismael Saibari topped the ranking after an outstanding campaign that included three goals. His performances were followed closely by fellow Moroccan international Azzedine Ounahi, who also played a key role in his team's strong showing.

Egyptian midfielder Emam Ashour ranked third and was considered the leading performer among the Egyptian squad. He was followed by compatriot Mostafa Abdel Raouf, known as Ziko, while Mohamed Salah also featured prominently among the tournament's leading Arab players.

Morocco's Brahim Diaz and Achraf Hakimi were also included in the top 10, reflecting the country's continued influence on the global football scene. Egypt had several representatives as well, while Algeria's Riyad Mahrez completed the list as the only Algerian player featured in the ranking.
