Female artists set to headline Mawazine music festival lineup 2026
The Mawazine festival in Rabat brings together a wide selection of female artists for its 21st edition under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. The program spans multiple stages across the Moroccan capital and neighboring Salé, highlighting voices from the Arab world, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Each performance reflects a different musical tradition, from classical Arabic singing to contemporary pop, soul, and Afro-fusion.
The lineup includes established international figures such as Mayada El Hennawy, Macy Gray, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Dionne Warwick, Oumou Sangaré, Margareth Menezes, and Imany. It also features rising and regional voices including Tyla, Djelykaba Bintou, Pongo, and Jaylann. Moroccan representation remains strong with artists such as Asma Lmnawar, Saida Charaf, Fatima Tabaamrant, Statia, Sanae Marahati, and Aicha Maya, alongside cross-cultural performers like Mélina, Susana Travassos, and Eneida Marta.
Performances will take place across key venues including the Théâtre National Mohammed V, OLM Souissi, the Bouregreg stage, Salé, and the Chellah site. The distribution of concerts across these locations reflects the festival’s structure, which blends large-scale international shows with more intimate cultural performances. Each venue hosts a distinct musical identity, ranging from global headliners to traditional and fusion acts rooted in local heritage.
