Experienced paraglider dies after fall into the sea off Brittany coast

A 76-year-old paraglider lost his life on Saturday after falling into the sea in Douarnenez Bay, on the coast of Brittany in western France, according to maritime authorities.

The accident occurred near Pointe de Tréfeuntec, in the commune of Plonévez-Porzay in the Finistère department. Witnesses reportedly spotted an unresponsive person in the water, prompting an immediate emergency response.
